ASYLUM LOCKDOWN!!!!

:spotlight-left: ATTENTION ALL ASYLUM PATIENTS AND REGISTERED VISITORS! :spotlight-right:

This is a reminder that The Asylum is on LOCKDOWN!

We are currently CLOSED until January 2010 while we renovate our facility to the new dA Groups format!

While the SWAT team is making its rounds to all the floors to lock patients in their rooms and move those who have strayed into the hallways to a secure, similarly-run concentration camp. Family members have been notified and may come to pick you up and bring you home for the holidays. Those without family members will remain at the camp until The Asylum reopens. Registered visitors may adopt a patient during this time and bring them home to run amok during the holidays. Only 1 patient per household! :shakefist: Unless you get lucky and get siamese twins. :D Patients remaining at the camp need not worry. We've hired some ex employees from Guanatamo Bay AND Alcatraz so you WILL get the torture that you need- MAD TERRORIST STYLE!

We will NOT be accepting new patients or submissions during this time! Please hang onto your committment applications and submissions until we reopen!

We will keep everyone informed on when the patients will be allowed back into their rooms (rejoining the group) and when they may continue their therapy (able to submit art) here are at The Asylum. Thank you for understanding.

We are not your typical dark arts club. We are the active caretakers of the artistically insane. We are looking for passion and originality. We want quality, not quantity. Don't send us everything in your gallery and please don't send us everything you submit to all other dark art club galleries. Our focus is the integrity and intensity of the imagery in this club, and we want the best of your best. ;)

:fork: We reserve the right to reject submissions from patients if we feel that the works do not coincide with the vision of the club. If you get your feelings hurt easily if a piece of yours should be rejected, it's probably best to not apply.





Note the club and let us know why you’d like to be committed. Our team of “qualified” doctors will assess your condition. Upon acceptance, we will request that you select one piece from your gallery and your room number then your therapy will begin. At this point, please put an icon link to the asylum in your journal by typing : icondark-arts-asylum : (with no spaces) and if you wish add a text link in your signature. Remember to also add us to your watch list. :nod:

Any residents that want to get out of the camps are welcome to come home with me :D. I already have ~Insanity-Engine. I have a wonderful abandoned library with everything you'd need, delightfully morbid. Also, I have a steaming pot of my specialty cloned rat stew waiting for you :D.

:D I don't know why anyone would want to abandon the library. It also has a kitchen (it has been enhanced, though), and and a dungeon. I'm not sure what it was exactly meant for but I've gotten great use out of it!
