If you haven't created your room yet, we want you to do so! Create how you envision your patient room within The Asylum! Send us a note with your room submission to be added to the Patient Room Directory! Dr. Daemon also wants a good feel for the setup of your room so she can slip in and out quietly as she makes her random rounds of nightly surgeries.

We are a very interactive cyber home for extreme and dark artists representing all art mediums. We encourage thought provoking visuals that could include but are not limited to: dark themes, horror, gore, death, bondage, blood, pain, conceptual surrealism and controversial content. Your mental mayhem is our passion!! We see art in any form, as therapy... and if you meet our criteria, you're invited to join us in the asylum.

We are not your typical dark arts club. We are the active caretakers of the artistically insane. We are looking for passion and originality. We want quality, not quantity. Don't send us everything in your gallery and please don't send us everything you submit to all other dark art club galleries. Our focus is the integrity and intensity of the imagery in this club, and we want the best of your best.

We reserve the right to reject submissions from patients if we feel that the works do not coincide with the vision of the club. If you get your feelings hurt easily if a piece of yours should be rejected, it's probably best to not apply.

Note the club and let us know why you’d like to be committed. Our team of “qualified” doctors will assess your condition. Upon acceptance, we will request that you select one piece from your gallery and your room number then your therapy will begin. At this point, please put an icon link to the asylum in your journal by typing : icondark-arts-asylum : (with no spaces) and if you wish add a text link in your signature. Remember to also add us to your watch list.
